The NT Labs Barley Straw Pouch Single Pack is placed on the surface near moving water. Additionally, if you attach string to the pouch, pulling the pouch to the surface twice monthly will be easier and continue the decomposition of the barley straw pouch. The pouch takes 28 days to take effect and should be replaced every 6 months (only remove old pouch one month after replacing with new to ensure continuous control.
